Mauricio Lopez Garcia

Mauricio Lopez Garcia is a lawyer specialized in real estate law, currently working at Padua Law Firm. With a solid background and a distinguished career in law, Mauricio brings a deep understanding of the legal and commercial complexities in the Mexican real estate sector.

Before joining Padua Law Firm, Mauricio founded and led “Acrónimo Creative Law Firm” since 2016. During his tenure at “ACLF,” he developed his professional practice in the areas of planning, consulting, acquisition, real estate developments, and trusts. He provided in-house legal services to small and medium-sized businesses across the country, developing and implementing legal strategies. His focus on corporate formation, commercial transactions, and real estate agreements has been essential for the success of his clients.

Previously, Mauricio worked as Junior Attorney at “Altea Desarrollos,” where he reported directly to the Legal Director, gaining valuable experience in the legal aspects of commercial developments and negotiating contracts with major companies in Mexico. Additionally, he served as an Intern and Junior Associate at “Abelardo Pérez y Asociados S.C.,” contributing to the firm’s corporate area and participating in international transactions and trade regulation.

Mauricio obtained his Law Degree from the University of Monterrey and is admitted to the Mexican Bar Association. His certifications include accreditation as a Mediator by the Judicial Branch of the State of Nuevo León and a specialized course in integration processes between the European Union and North America from the Carlos III University of Madrid, Spain. He is a member of the Mexican Association of Industrial Property (AMPPI).
